Your motherly instincts take over
You are indeed my best friend
So I want you to know moreover,
I’ll stay with you till the end!
You may not know it yourself
But you are very smart
And when I need you the most
Your humor is a work of art
I love you, it's true
I hold you dear, and so near
After all we've been through,
I know you'll be here
Through the times of need
Through the times when I scream and yelp
You'll ignore my absurd greed
And come to help
Now all I want to say
On this special day
Thanks for being a great mom
And I hope you'll never go away
