"All things dear disappear."

always out of place
lost in a chase
on a run
from
all of what's left
behind
a lost mind
running to find
a lonely heart
set apart.
a long, cold road
can never let go
traveled alone,
the only home
never quite known
starting at the beginning
can't the world stop spinning?
trying to make sense,
landing on a fence
wanting to stay
a night or a day
a body or a face
but never
never a place

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Yay, Dan! I really like this poem. It's super good if you read it backwards too. You go, glen coco! 4 for you.
