Threw Away The Key
Your hair falls softly onto your cheek,
I want so badly to push it away,
Just to remind me of how good your skin feels,
To you, this may be an ordinary day,
But it means more than that to me,
Cause’ just seeing your face again, brings back the memories,
We were the perfect combination,
The breaking point to my temptation,
I unlocked the safe you hid your heart in,
While you narrowed the distance, there had been,
And if I could tell you all that is on my mind,
Speak the words that I desperately struggle to find,
The ones left unspoken, the ones that could make you imagine,
You know it takes me more than once to learn my lesson,
It’s hard looking into your eyes that were once filled with passion,
Cause’ they look distorted when they don’t long for me,
You’ve locked up your heart, and threw away the key……
Me.
