The Pain
Of Severe Heat
Rushes through my veins
Seeking an escape
Searching for that
Object of adoration
Something to soothe
The overwhelming warmth
A healer with cooling
Properties
To endure the painful
Rising temperature
To share the burden,
To release
energy,
To release
Thermometer breaking heat
Pouring from extremities
To soothe, to cool, to calm
To temporarily fix
My problems.
