I’ve found the clue I need to keep things in motion
to keep hate out of my heart
because your my favorite
I see that clearly now

Circles
we dance in them every day
creating complexity with each simple step
more than ever before
the pen mirrors our movement
more frenzied to keep pace

I’ve made us a way
did we not know?
Our minds too scared to keep our hands clean?
Watch over me please
we are our own prophets
both true and false
the merger complete
I will call you out
and you will burn me away

I will call you in
to watch over me
as we watch over you
so keen our eyes to the details
we let the bricks become more important than the building they make

You could have been all I wanted
but the bricks fell too soon
and you were as I presumed
the apple off doom tossed away
half eaten
but fully too late

here lays at peace
on the shores that take pleasure in martyrdom
this is not my side
hang on to my last kiss for you
please make up your mind
I will do anything for you
faint white scars carry on to the inside
you got it
but will you still be wondering?
Will it still scar me too?

I have the question to your answer
despite my matter of words
with words
is that a question I feel on your fingers?
Or an answer that will come with what has been?
What will I do to survive?
the world over my cry resides
broken love made anew

shadow on shadow
misdirection at its worst
true revelation at is most mundane
revolution is at hand
but it dwells in the one we refuse to raise
your turn to pick the way you take
you have my hand through sickness and well
but will cowards win the day
or will my fears be the first to gallivant across the path of most resistance?
Or will my life go with the death of it all?
Sleep takes my sight for this day
I call you name in my mind
say it in my heart
and whisper it to the world....
