AMONG THE LEAVES
The colorful leaves on the trees shall fall,
Hoping to catch one before autumn calls,
Among these days I have many flaws,
Consumed in the foggy mist of the season.
This time in which I was born,
A mixture of contaminated silence and war,
Within the happy I was always alone.
I'd cry for the lost,
the loved ones only my subconscious knew,
As I grew- I too became a clone.
Even though I look like the average girl and attract the average guy,
I know the look of my kind.
Eyes of unholy times,
Physically a remembrance of bad tales.
Mentally are intelligence can't be reached,
Able to crack codes.
With our nose we smell the stench of the rose the that world calls sweet.
Confused with the Geeks, Rocks, Goths, Gays, and Punks,
Soon you'll remember us!
We know more that you think,
When playing in the fog of depression I found it among the leaves.
A gift my soul will always keep.
Wrapped in dead roses and topped with a ribbon of peace.
