It's 2 AM
When my phone rings
Should I answer?
I roll out of bed
And cross my floor
Why should I answer?
It's from him
He's alone and sad
How to answer?
All I do is say 'Hey'
And now he's glad
That I answered
This goes on for a while
And I have a question
Do I want his answer?
I say "I love you,
Do you love me back?"
I wish he hadn't answered
