Rule the World with me
Don't you want to rule the world with me?
it would be a bitter sweet symphony
i promise you we'd rock it out
like that time we passed out
tumbling thorugh fields of clouds
laughing our bums off
those were the days
that we lived like rockstars
dreaming of a life through eyes of an infant
a little tyke vulnerable to society around them
gullible to the apparitions that pass through it
smiling so wide to flash those pearls off
it's like stealing candy from a kid
literally
wandering the streets
kicking up the leaves that define gravity
i suppose someday we'll rule the world
with our eyes wide open
our catwalk swang
knowing that life starts the moment we wake up
it's bright out
smile, embrace life as it is
it's too short to mess it up
so laught at the stupid jokes
spin around in that circle
that's ruling the world for me
now the inevitable appears before hand
whats it it mean to you, kid?
because at heart we're all kids
trying to live life to the fullest
even if clouds surpass over us
it's what we make of it,
that makes us who we are,
and what we ant that matters.
lets rule the world
show 'em what we're made of
cause in the end it all comes down to us
to rule the world with open eyes
