My heart is racing
Our love is fading
And you
Your heart is racing too
The sands of time are running through our fingertips
Your hand brushes
Against my lips
You ask for me to stay
Can't you see
Our time has just run out
Can't you see that you and I
Are just a fragment of doubt
Just a memory that didn't last

Do you really expect me
To miss you back
When you threw me in the dirt
A thousand times too fast
Can you really hope
That I could forget the past
When you thought of it as just a game
When you thought I wouldn't
Catch you in the act of deciet
You don't deserve anything from me

I'll admit, It was my fault
For taking you back
Even after I was held by a stranger
And you just laughed
"Baby, It was a test to see if you really loved me"
Those words were like knifes in my back
Can you really expect me to miss you back?

A very emotional, very indignant poem; or so it seemed to me. I liked how you wrote it and how you incorporated Time into the story. My favorite line was the (I count one, two, three, four) fifth. Well done.
