Earthquakes
She's the anger behind my words
He's the sadness in my voice
The twisted emotions make me sick
My mind's confused
I can't keep living like this
I'm unable to stand up straight
As I lay in bed with my unnoticed bruises
I swallow my frustration back
Life's at it's roughest yet
And I'm just trying to get by
As she explains herself to me
My anger subsides
And with everyday I live without him
There's one less tear in my eye
Just when I think I can't hold on any longer
The Earth stops shaking
