Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Suess

The breeze ruffled my hair
as the angel voices called
Whispering songs
of joy and happiness
They told me everything
would be alright
that I had my own guardian angel
watching over me
The wings of my angel wrapped
its arms around me
safe and warm
my mom sat down next to me
The voices left
but I knew I wasn’t alone
Because in my mom’s eyes I saw my protector

This is so beautiful! And comforting! And heartwarming! It was written, in a sense, with the touching innocence of a child. But also with the touching sound of an elder. Did that make sense? Anyway, the last line was perfect. And well done!
