Pain
My own silent tears
Glistening as seas
Of sorrow
“Don’t speak to me again”
The words inside your eyes
Mirrors
Of your soul
That slight sense of
Regret
As you stare while I preach
The final sermon
“Never let me go”
“Forgive my sins”
“Forgive me again”
A special poem
For you
Heart poured out
No emotion left
All pain laid out before you
The cards I once held
Are revealed
Mild bemusement
No effects
Nothing
I am a nothing
Tears behind my
Stormy eyes force me to turn
Away from you
“Goodbye”
No reply
And that night
A night of waterfalls
Until there was nothing
Left
Living and yet
Dead
Pain overcomes me
As I fall to slumber
