Car Crash
As I lay here thinking about you,
my mind starts to race and my thoughts seem to blur.
The walls start to move and the floor seeps with blood.
My body trembles while my room begins to flood.
The heat suffocates me and gravity becomes my only reality.
My clothes rip and my head aches.
I dread if this is Heaven, but I'm falling too fast.
I wonder if this is reality.
Has it passed me by?
As I reach out to grab something, to feel something real.
Reality slaps me in the face,
leaving me paralyzed.
I get a grip and realize that no
matter how much I hate you for
leaving me this world,
alone. . .
The car crash that took your life,
Will never be replaced.
