Life is but a book just waiting to be filled, you make your own story

Pain
Darkness
Blind doubt
Lonely
Unknown fear
Why?
A light that can not be reached?
Then put in more effort
A never ending wound?
Then ignore it and move forward
Trust is not something to give out?
Dont give freely and take it a step at a time
Is keeping it in the better way
No, speaking out can give relief
Is there a monster in every shadow?
A friend nearby will keep you safe
That light does exist
In life it's the only salvation
It will only ever give help
But one has to believe
To believe after a hard fall
There is always a way back up
Believe that in failure
There can be new sucess
Believe that in fear
There is a weapon that will destroy nightmares
Life gives every being a valuable lesson
There is reason behind everything
Love is lost
Pain is given
Trust is betrayed
Unforgetable
Yet life also gives gifts
To love again
To heal and strive
To strangthen your will
To forgive and move on
There isn't just gloom and doom
There is a way to peace
To joy

This is a poem that I wrote to a friend of mine that I thought he might get and for once be happy.
