I
sit here quietly
feeling the wave of silence waft over me
how could you say those things?
I thought we were cool
i thought we were friends
i guess all friendships are like days
they have to end
i’d rather have no friends then count you as one
i’d rather have 1 friend who wished me good
then 200 friends who wished me nothing
thats not a friendship its fake
it will brittle and break
i wear the label of unpopularity proudly
and I watch as you
once my friend scale he ranks of the fake and brittle
waiting for the day when all you want
will go away
and your fake friends will eat you alive
and look for another in your stead
i’ll still be here unpopular
tormented everyday
maybe you will see the error of your ways
maybe you won’t and you will be
fake for as long as you can be
but when you find your throne of bones
has broken and you ain’t got no one
don’t come looking for me
i’ll be gone
away from this place
hopefully somewhere better and i will be happy
and not thinking of you
