My Best Friend
I woke up this morning, with a smile on my face.
Thinking about those adventures, those fits of laughter, those smiles!
Walking through the drive thru,
Getting kicked out of the dollar store,
Running around with wind mills, as happy as a kid in a “candy” store!
So many inside jokes,
Being such…. Teenagers
Talking like someone else for hours and hours…
I remember things that happened just last night and laugh and smile to myself.
We laugh so hard we get stomach muscles,
Talk so much that our lungs give out,
Share so many thoughts that you would think there was never to be another questioned to be asked.
Talking about anything and everything,
Mostly boys though…..
Your one of the reasons I absolutely love being a teenager.
You help me through break-ups,
You make me laugh so hard I cry,
You make me cry to the point I laugh,
We sing like no one is listening,
Dance like no one is watching,
Act like no one judges us,
And live life to the fullest without a care in the world.
There is no one else out there that I would rather share these moments with….
Only you, my counselor, my soul sister, my zebra,
My best friend!
