Im on my back
You see ive fallen flat
someone pushed me down
on this earth which is known to be round
Friends querry,
"Why not get back up?"
"I cant deary"
Whats got you in a rut?
"Life and stuff i have grown to dislike"
"Get on up! We'll go for a hike!"
"Im glued here all alone... I cant"
My friends, angry, begin to rant
I sut their mouths with my stare
Of hurt and pain. No longer they glare.
"You need some tree"
a friend says to me
"The green will get you vertical"
another says, "Bull!!"
And one friend is mad at another
Like i need more cr.ap! oh brother
Stuck to the ground i stay
Good memories are a needle in the hay
I'll wait till the glue is gone
And remain Life's chess pawn
If i could live thru the game
Maybe im not so lame...
