A Letter To The Mistake Of A Lifetime
Well, I’m loving this freedom
But the quiet hurts like you wouldn’t believe
Well, I miss you like I never thought I would
But I’ve never been so independent
You’ve left a hole, round and deep,
That nothing can fill unfortunately.
It’s a worry that yours are big shoes to fill,
Luckily my Nan has a saying,
’Sometimes things are easy to let go of if they were worth nothing to the you of the future.‘
Yeah, sometimes we thing she’s a bit fruit loop but hey, she’s family.
You may have been good at the time but then again,
We broke up.
You messed up didn’t you?
Messed up big time.
Your shoes suddenly seem so much smaller.
Forget I said anything x
