the stars aren't winking,
tonight they're smirking.
bodies of burning fire
will grow cold and lose their desire.
the one that tries
is the one that fails.
the other dies without avail.
small steps break the heart
and tear us apart.
bite my tongue with yours cold as ice.
slow and silent attack.
blood bleeds black.
