But You Didn’t | Teen Ink

But You Didn’t MAG

By Anonymous

I took a slice of moon and put it my hair
But you didn’t say
I glowed.
I scattered the stars in my eyes,
But you didn’t say
I shone.
I splashed the blue ocean water on my face,
But you didn’t say
I glistened.
I told you “I love you” yesterday,
But you didn’t even
listen.

It's...

It's...

It's...

Well, quite simply put, it's beautiful. I'm quite literally speechless.

So simple and yet so fitting.

I love it.

The truth is that at some point, everyone's going to hurt you. You just have to decide who's worth the pain.

Some say having something to lose is what makes you vulnerable. I believe that having something to lose only makes you stronger.

So simple yet so profound and touching

My simple three words? I love it.
