They pass each other by,
In the streets.
One boy,
And one girl.
Two completely different worlds,
With the potential to become one.
Her world is built around material objects,
While his is based on morality.
She delves in love for fun and play.
He is searching for a life companion.
She is the cat,
He holds role of mouse.

The author's comments:
When I wrote this, I had in mind teen relationships. It seems to me that the majority of teenagers are only interested in a person, based on what they have: how much money they have, what they wear, what they drive, what they look like.
