Impossible

I find myself attracted to
impossibility
(a most curious phenomenon):
grabbing at something
(hardly there)
only to find it
oozing through the cracks in my
(sunny-day)imagination.
I let it patter
on the roof of my
mind-
raining improbability
into the gutters of life,
only
it recycles itself
(into condensation)
and clouds my thoughts
again.
