Without love, there would be no joy
No explosion of fireworks when you hear
I love you for the very first time
No leap of the heart when you gaze into
his eyes and see love reflecting back
No sensation of contentment when he smiles
and you realize just how perfect life is

Without love, there would be no pain
No fit of angry passion when you shout
and you see the storm on his face
No weeping sessions when you decide
the future of your heart, your soul
No meaningless days that last an eternity,
when you realize just how important he is

Love is the tingling on your skin,
caused by the sunlight that peeps through
after a storm, a moment that will always pass
Love is the warmth, when you smile at someone
and they smile right back with their hearts
Love is the pounding of your heart when you realize
that something is worth hanging on to.

Love is the feeling you get when you’re
with your friends, laughing and joking, sharing
jokes and secrets that no one else will ever know,
in your special secret world.
Love is the feeling you get when you
go shopping with your mum and she feels like
a best friend and you love her even more, when
you laugh together because your souls are in harmony.
Love is the feeling you get when you’re
with that special guy, when he makes you to feel like
the most special, luckiest girl in the world, when you can
picture spending your lives entwined together.

Love is yelling at your sister, knowing
that tonight you’ll watch and giggle at TV together.
Love is telling the truth to your best friend, watching
out for her as much as you watch out for yourself.
Love is teasing your boyfriend, knowing
that he thinks the world of you, and you of him.

Love is the essence of our souls,
It defines us, it refines us.
It’s our teacher in the lessons of our heart.
It chooses which path at many of life’s crossroads.
It dictates our perception of right and wrong.
Love is the greatest achievement in life.
To wake up, knowing you are loved,
with your heart full of love for the people that
are always at the centre of your eyes.
People, you’ll be able to forgive and be forgiven -
because no one’s perfect.
People, you’ll sometimes let down and sometimes make proud -
because even you can’t be perfect
People, you’ll have bad memories of that
fade in comparison with the best memories you
cherish in your heart for eternity.

Life is about a book about love -
Discovering its many forms through beautiful chapters,
rediscovering it so it never loses its spark as you turn the pages,
dealing with it and most importantly:
Life is about making the most of love.

Without love, there would be no love.
