I crunch through leaves
With patterns of a butterfly’s wings
Orange with black veins lingering
The sky reflects the gray off the sidewalk
The strong clouds tackling each other
I blow off by the side
Seeing a strong ant stride by
The trees are tired
Wired to the ground
The sound of pigeons flapping
Squirrels clapping
I never want to leave
The Autumn Sidewalk Ahead
