someone get me out
reach with arms welcoming
hands grasping
faces uplifted
someone get me out
reach my desperate fingers
with gentle strength
and pull me up
someone get me out
of this pit, this hole of despair
that I've saved so many from
but have been unable to escape
someone get me out
get me away
from this feeling
this empty loneliness
someone get me out
or if you cannot
then give to me
what i cannot dream of
someone get me out
or give me hope
that i can get out
on my own
