Beauteous MAG
She moved across the stage like she was aboard the wings of an angel.
Her face, pale white, pinched pink at the
apple of her cheeks.
Her eyes, lit up, so fervent, so beauteous.
Every movement tied to the next, contorting like a Boy Scout's latest knot.
And, oh, the badge she'll receive for
this one!
Every step more fluid than the previous.
Then the quick increase of her pace,
Now she had the audience in her hands,
Something big –
A leap!
Insignificance sweeps the audience;
that leap held so much power.
Her grace, impossible to disregard.
She tiptoed behind the dark, heavy curtains,
Her performance, through.
The audience silent.
The loudest silence ever to be heard.
She was exquisite.
