I may be an idiot, but i'm not stupid

Until you change me enough that i'm convinced I need to change, I won't change

Dreams are scattered fragments of
The past, present and future.
Liked a thousand shards of glass,
Randomly reflecting bits
Of each other.

So what is lucidity?
A torn lifeline cast in to pull You up and out of
The storm of shattered mirrors,
Where you smother.

Poetry isn't really my strong point, I love poetry but I struggled to write it, it doesn't come naturaly like the other writing i do, this piece took me forever.

Shoot!  I just realized i had a typo, since it was so short i just rewrote it on the sight instead of coping it and i wrote liked instead of like, that messed up the whole flow of the poem, is there anyway to remove this?
