Mocking Birds Don't Sing

Pop those pills
Drink the water
Swallow them down
Put the pain away
Feel yourself slip away
Dizzy in the head
Body frozen on the ground
Eyes starting to close
Mind starting to numb
You are scared
Everything was wrong in life
You just chose the wrong thing to do
But don’t you cry
Mama will buy you a mocking bird
If that mocking bird don’t sing
Mama will buy you a diamond ring
Objects wont make these problems go away
People’s words shouldn’t bother you
Be yourself, not what others want you to be
Hush
Things will soon get better
