Sleep
PubSub#5
The lights are off,
The moon awake,
Glowing through your window
Which you frequently look out
Because its not coming...
You’ve waited for an hour
Yet no prevail
Your eyelids close, but are not met
Not met
By the peace, and the tranquility
It should be here
But its not...so you wait
Has it forgotten that each night it arrives?
It must have, everyone forgets sometimes.
Maybe its late...very late.
So all you can do is wait
For the forgetful, late, sleep
