Wings
I always wanted to fly,
but I could never find my wings.
I didn't feel worthy enough to claim the sky.
 Then you came along.
 You lifted me up.
 When I fell down again,
you were there to raise me up again.
You opend my eyes to the clouds
and sang to me the song of the wind.
 Let it take me away.
Your smile not only gave my heart wings,
 but made my soul fly.
 I felt selfless
 and beautiful.
 I didn't want to fly
if you were still on the ground.
 Together,
 we flew over the birds
 and hid from the sun.
 It all just flowed.
You showed me what magic was
and flew me to heaven above.
 Who would have thought,
 you'd be the one
 who taught me to soar?
 You gave me my wings.
