Crying
As the tears run down your face
Your heart bursts from emotion
Drop by drop the water falls
Like rain on a summer’s day
Crying as your body can no longer take
All the sadness and heartache
Crippled inside and out, and broken
Never again to be fixed
Your chest heaves, overcome by emotion
Not wanting anyone else to know your pain
You hurt inside, searching shelter
This being your only form of salvation
Fingers trembling, you are alone
Both on the inside and out
Eyes turning puffy, cheeks turning red
Your secret begins to show itself
Tears bring you happiness
Makes your heart less filled from overflowing
Calming down as the moments pass
Your salvation soon leaves you
Quiet, but calm and serene
Heart beating steadily, fingers stop trembling
You are ready to face the world again
Loneliness brings strength, a new way of living
