Speed
We all crave for speed,
for there is never enough time,
and the faster you are,
the better you are,
so it seems.
Speed gives you freedom,
a sense that no one else is there,
and it feels like you have the world.
Unless,
you're not the fastest.
Then all you can do is hope to be faster,
to be stronger.
And hope that the fastest
loses their speed.
But,
what if speeds not a good thing?
What if it gets you no where?
Jus running in circles.
And what if you're too fast?
And your life is cut short because
you wanted to be the fastest.
Therefore: speed can
be a bad element of life.
In fact,
it could be
the worst.
But also,
the best.
We spend some much
time,
energy,
and hope,
that one day
we'll be the fastest,
not knowing if the end result
will be good,
or bad...
