Dull.
I feel your hot breath on me,
Heating me in this cold, cold cave.
Your frosty eyes illuminate the darkness,
Yet I still can't see you.
I give my neck to you,
Exposed.
Cut me with that dull knife,
That pink knife you lick your lips with.
Taste buds that taste everything,
All the pain, all the wistfulness.
Listen to the fire crackle,
Listen to the heartbeat.
I am not interesting,
Yet you give my dull life meaning.
Illuminate this darkness, Illuminate my blue soul.
Things are going backwards,
Things were bad at first.
Listen to my yearning,
I give my love to you,
Exposed.
