Alone
I have felt what it's like to be excluded
To be ignored, forgotten, and unloved
I have felt what it's like to be hated
From those I called friends once upon a time
I have felt what it's like to be broken
The splintering in your heart and soul
I have felt what it's like to be empty
With nothing around to hold on to
I have also felt what it is like to be loved
To lived each day to the fullest
I have felt the feeling of dreams coming true
And the deep serenity within it
I have felt happier than a raindrop
Falling to the earth for the very first time
I have felt sadder than a ray of sunshine disappearing
Forever behind the dark sky
I have felt what it's like to be alone
The feeling is like no other
Deep heartache, anguish, fury
Serenity, calm, and happiness
