Always having to string words together

Always being so sentimental
To even those people whom shouldn’t have it
The life of a poet
It can be so lonely
Your only friends are the words you create
The life of a poet
Can be so life changing
Finally having a way to show the real you
The life of a poet
Can be so mysterious
Yet through all the metaphors the truths stay true
The life of a poet
Through all the pain and happiness
Is exactly the life I want to have for me
