Sad Day
Wake up you know something is wrong,
Something is off all day long.
Something is not right when you look in the mirror,
All along hoping to see yourself clearer.
Not liking what you see,
And wishing you could flee.
Confused by the clutter,
The sight makes you want to shutter
Everyone shuffling about,
But you are filled up with doubt.
They seem to know what to do,
They think you should too.
But you’re floating through life without a cause,
All your life waiting for the applause.
Waiting for someone to see you aren’t faceless,
For someone to see you are a jewel, priceless.
No one ever comes but still you wait,
No one ever does, they all just hate.
