"It's not what they call you, it's what you answer to."

I sit with my eyes wide
even before the sun will rise
and even though I'm not certain
I pull back the curtain
and see a blue word
meant for me to up and fly

As free as my wings will go
or as far as they'll take me
I fly out my cage
and become an escapee

through the air
at the clouds, I stare
so beautiful
a tear is brought to my eye
without a care
I'm taken there
and become one with the sky

Not a problem is heard
Because I'm like a bird

So peaceful and bright
when we all take flight
we must be courageous and brave

How euphoric I've learned
no problem is heard
because I'm like a bird

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem just thinking about nature. It's so beautiful isn't it? Just seems to fly by us sometimes. Sometimes i want to fly with it. Just be one with nature and soar through the sky. I'm similar to it, because I'm like a bird.

Nothing gold can stay ~ Robert Frost

This is good. I like the phrasing and it really flows.
