I scream into paper
Paper screams still
Every little crease I see
Wrinkles
Is me
Monsters In for the kill
By The thousands, hunting
Shadows cast over a frozen lake
Seeping into the ground below
Hiding from the fish-tank filter light
That cuts life in two
And stops my screaming sound
But the paper screams still
