Eyes, snap open,
Running, jumping, fumbling,
Down stairs
Magical, multi-colored, montage of paper, plastic,
Ribbon, pine brightly shining!
Trying to process, beauty, majesty of Conifer.

Rainbows of presents under, Great Fir
Little, tall, fat, small,
Three, center, all uniform signed S.C.
Sight, happy memories flashing through my head.

Savoring, cherishing, enjoying,
Past, present, future, cherishing
Old, new ideas.
Thinking on what could be.
Remembering, nights long, long ago…

Memories, good or bad
All flowing like the cold summer stream that ran in, back.
The same stream I spent exploring, friends made there,
Friends, were loyal, loving, caring.

Present, here, a loving family,
Family, feeding, nourishing you with their deep,
Ever-lasting love. Thinking, almost tasting, smelling the sticky-buns,
Eggs, bacon, sausage, all surrounding me,
Taking in, scene recalling, real reason, Christmas is.

The night the holy babe escaped death from the jealous king,
When the king of kings and lord of lords was born.
When, Lord Jesus Christ came to fulfill God’s promise.

As we gaze up upon, the magical, multi-colored, montage of paper, plastic
Ribbon, pine shining ever so brightly, trying to process, beauty, majesty of Conifer,
We should all remember,
The true Christmas.

Thank you for writing this! It's nice to know that there are still people that know the true meaning of Chris.tmas. The only thing I suggest is that you might want to say "The true meaning of Chris.tmas" or "The first Chris.tmas" because it sounds better poetically. Oh, and not really a big thing but saying xmas on the side is a wee bit hypocritical, because xmas has a connotation of taking Chris.t out of Chris.tmas. But otherwise, good job!
