My pen will no longer remain still
I have to write
Free my self
From my quiet
From my anger
I refuse to let my self be shushed
Any longer
I am held
Bound to a silence, with unseen shackles
I am supposed to be quiet
Polite
A perfect angel
But give me a pen and paper,
And set me free.
