All those silly little boys and those pretty young girls
They think they’re in love so they jump and they twirl
Life for them is a game of loving and hurting
It’s living on a whim, based on emotions and feeling.
But that’s not love, I’m sorry to say
It’s just a crush
It lasts a while, then just gets in the way
These crushes will crush you eventually.

This is about that time in your life when everybody of the opposite sex is amazing to you, when your silly head wonders if maybe you're in love. But it's not just a narrative, it's a wake up call. Wake up, boys and girls of America! One day you'll find love and it will blow those "crushes" away. Save your heart for the one who will matter.
