"Love comes when manipulation stops; when you think more about the other person than about his or her reactions to you, When you dare to reveal yourself fully, When you dare to be vulnerable"

Locked in a cage
Rattling the bars
I Call for help
“Can someone please help me?”
No answer
No way out
Trapped and confused
Alone in this dark cell of hate
Will I ever feel alive?
Am I destined to spend forever in the unknown?
I want to be free of this burden you’ve put upon me
Suffering alone
I want to scream out
Though there’s no one to listen
Listen to my tale
The tale of how I’m torn by you
The way I’m confined inside myself
Because of you
Let me out of the containment you’ve created
Don’t put me in the corner
Like a demon you can’t face
Let me be me
Give me the key
Let me be free

Right now I'm having issues with my parents accepting who I am and expressing myself so if this poem seems a little off, I'm sorry.
