How do you hold a broken heart
how do you make the rain fall
why are you standing there
praying for loss
how is the sky turned red by the blood of others
how do you free souls trapped forever
why do you stand there watching me die
grinning whith that glint in your eye
how do you watch a gentle magnolia bloom with out shedding a tear
or wath the birth of an infant so tender and dear
praying is lost upon this battered sea
but will mercy be shown to you and me
How is this all done with out a single sigh?
