I am blinded
Not by light, but by you
I see your face, I hear your voice
But I do so in ways I feel you are not familiar with

Your features, ineluctable, I fight to see each chance I get
Each one radiating only but a little
All coming together, though, to emit the whole of your worth

Your voice, inevitable, draws me close
Leaving my ears crying for more
Lying in wait, lost in such addiction
I find myself wandering
Often entwined in a fallacy of your song

Your eyes, enigmatic, I could explore them for hours
Such depths, rarely attainable, stay concealed
For they have yet to meet mine

You, indescribable, hold me in awe
Keep me in thrilling foresight
And with that
Abandon me in anticipation

So I forever remain for you
As I wait away the day
