Tick tock says the clock
Never fading sounds, never ceasing
Through it all, the clock still spoke tick tock

Silent nights, everyone sleeping
The hand never failing
Sweeping to and from, side to side
Tick tock says the clock

Trying time, coming and gone
Coming dawn already withdrawn
Through it all, the clock says tick tock

Ringing bringing joy,
Church bells tolling,
Resting the dead welcoming the new
Tick tock says the clock

From the beginning,
Till the end,
Our lives are ruled
By the tick tock of the clock
