It isn’t always easy
of that we know for sure
but life has its own plans
it’s all we have, no more
We take it all for granted
the things we have each day
we never really think
that nothing here can stay
Now the time has come
to say our goodbyes
You take Me by the hand
to tell me sweet lies
Whisper in my ear
the things I know so well
and confirm my own fear
Feel my heart as it sinks low
the tears start to fall
I have to let you go.
