Girl In the Window
There’s a girl in the window
Only her face is seen
In a long vacated house
Her eyes are blank
With a faint smile on her lips
She only appears at night
Disappearing with the moon
No one else lives in that house
But if you listen closely
You can hear her singing
“This is my home
As always it will be
No one may ever come near
Because there are two things I will do
Choke you then break your neck”
With a dagger in one fist
She waits for a victim
Standing by the front window
Humming ever so silent
Only heard in the wind
That girl in the window
Neither dead not alive
Trapped in our world
Waiting for someone to come
To take her away
