Everybody lies-Gregory House

Hold your children tight
on this winters’ night
Out of the Shadows
deep in the Hallows
Come creatures so
frightening
deadly as

lightning
They
l
u
r
e
children
out
unable to SHOUT

Singing
sweet melodies
children come whispering “Please”
Light and tiny
bright and *Shiny*
Creature of the dark
without innocence’s’ spark
You know what they say
“Beware the Fae!”

This is something that was inspired by a book that I read. In the poem, unlike regular fae these are dark fae that eat children. It is a very dark poem about something that is usually light
