It's kind of fun to do the impossible

Sing the little girl,
but keep your wings furled,
stay inside your guilded cage,
never know the outside stage.

Sing the little doe,
sing of joy and woe,
Looking for her fawn,
there, bye the pond.

Sing the dying swan,
swiming in the pond,
last rays of the sun,
alas, her life is none.

The author's comments:
They say that a swan sings most beautifully with its dying breath.
