Faulty Mirrors
envelope me in these prisms
 of color-coded sadness
 portray me like different people
but never reveal my true colors
stand back and watch the glass melt
puddles of rainbows at your feet
 look at what you did-
 my colors all blend together
 into a dull metallic gray
 reminiscent of the moon
 and all the seclusion
 that accompanies it
